All’interno di un ex convento del 1600, nel centro storico di Alghero, un’unica unità immobiliare è stata frazionata in un monolocale per la locazione turistica e nell’appartamento qui descritto, per la villeggiatura della proprietà e per la locazione temporanea. Le due unità, collegate da un disimpegno interno, all’occorrenza possono tronare ad essere un unico grande appartamento. L’intervento principale è consistito nell’eliminazione della soletta del soprastante piano sottotetto e nella creazione di un soppalco, collegato da una passerella ad un piccolo terrazzo, già esistente, ma precedentemente non usufruibile. Nella ristrutturazione sono stati richiamate tutte le gradazioni di verde-blu, del mare e del cielo,  che fanno da sfondo all’abitazione.

Inside a former 1600 convent, in the historic center of Alghero, a single unit has been divided into a studio apartment for tourist rental and in this apartment as a holiday home for the property and, if necessary, for the lease. The two units, connected by an internal hallway, can, if necessary, become a single large apartment. The main intervention consisted in the elimination of the slab of the above attic floor and in the creation of a mezzanine with a walkway to reach a small terrace, which already exists, but previously not usable. In the interior decoration, all the shades of green-blue, of the sea and the sky, which form the background of the house, were recalled.
